ABOUT YISSET
A STORY SHAPED BY TWO WORLDS—DOMINICAN ROOTS AND CALIFORNIA DREAMING
Yisset Perez was born in the Dominican Republic, where her roots run deep. From there, she made New York City her home, with both places profoundly shaping the identity that defines her today.
She graduated from The New York Film Academy and trained at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, building a strong foundation in New York City.
To deepen her knowledge, she studied with Dr. Daniel Amen at Amen University, gaining a deeper understanding of the human brain and applying that insight to her acting craft.
She later trained in Los Angeles with renowned acting coach Howard Fine, and continues refining her accent and dialect skills with dialect coach Chris Lang.
Currently, she is expanding her storytelling by studying feature film writing at UCLA.
